In an industry with too many trends to count or keep track of, my beauty routine has become a makeshift laboratory where I test out all the latest products. But I’m a minimalist at heart, so once I sense my beauty products are getting too crowded, I get the itch to clean out the items I’m not over heels for. After careful deliberation and many donated boxes, I’m happy to report that only four key beauty trends are still standing. This season, I’ve been sticking to what works for me by wearing a pop of colour lipgloss, bold checked blushes, feline black noir eyeliner, and a creamy moisturizer (aka my daytime go-to) like there’s no tomorrow.

I’m still very much smitten with a minimalistic approach to my beauty routine, especially when we can use makeup to already enhance our natural beauty.
